Does this course satisfy the law with regards to food hygiene training?

Yes. This course fully meets the legal requirements of the UK and European Food Hygiene Regulations.

How much does the course cost?

£25 per student. There is nothing else to pay.

Will this course be accepted by the local environmental health officer?

Yes. This course is is fully compliant with UK and European regulations and will therefore be accepted by the local EHO.

Will I be awarded a certificate upon successful completion of the course?

Yes. Once you have completed the course and passed the final multiple-choice test you will be able to download your personal certificate. You can save, email or print this certificate any time you wish. (Click here to see a Sample Certificate)

Do I need any previous qualifications before taking this course?

No. All the information you require to complete the course successfully is contained within the course.

What is the qualification called?

The Basic Certificate in Food Hygiene.

How does the course take complete?

You can take as long as you wish to complete the course. Most of our students take a total time of around 5 hours. This means you could complete it in one day if you so wish or spread you study over a longer period.
